Georgia Hosts NATO’s Military Police Computer-Assisted Exercise – Civil Georgia

Georgia is hosting “SHARP LYNX 2026,” a computer-assisted exercise of the NATO Multinational Military Police Battalion hosted and directed by the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Centre (JTEC) within the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP) Military Police Initiative.

NATO Liaison Office in Georgia reported on October 1 that the exercise “is a step towards achieving “Participant Status” (a two-year cycle) in the NATO Multinational Military Police Battalion (NATO MNMPBAT), which will improve interoperability, staff procedures, coordination and command capabilities.”

“Following the completion of the exercise, the capabilities of the Military Police Units of the Georgian Defence Forces will be assessed,” the statement said.

Representatives from military police units from Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia are participating alongside Georgia.
