Georgia Extends Support for Ukrainian Citizens Until January 2027 – Civil Georgia



Access to medical services and socio-economic assistance for Ukrainian citizens residing in Georgia who arrived in Georgia due to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has been extended until January 1, 2027, the Georgian Dream government administration reported.

Under the scheme, Ukrainian citizens and holders of the right of permanent residence in Ukraine who arrived in Georgia because of the hostilities will continue to receive monthly assistance of GEL 300 (USD 115) per family and GEL 45 (USD 17) per individual.

The GEL-45 individual payment will be discontinued from the month following a person’s departure from Georgia. The 300-GEL family payment will likewise be terminated if all family members leave the country. The Social Service Agency will administer the socio-economic assistance payments.

Health Ministry will provide medical services for eligible Ukrainian citizens.

The healthcare package includes immunization; treatment of tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, including the provision of specific medications; maternal and child healthcare, mental healthcare; diabetes management and medication; dialysis; treatment for patients with rare diseases and those requiring permanent replacement therapy; and emergency medical services, including childbirth and emergency immunization.
